Partner terms

These terms cover the Groundwork Playbooks partner program, run by Svear. By sharing your partner link, you agree to them. Questions go to ronan@svear.io.

Joining

You apply on the partner page. We approve partners by hand and can say no without giving a reason. Once approved, you get a link with your own code.

What you earn

  • 40% of what the buyer actually paid for any playbook package, after any discount.
  • $100 flat, once per paying customer, for the 1-on-1, the Christmas Light Visualizer, a new website and our Facebook ads service.
  • 30% of what the buyer actually paid for a claymation or 3D video pack.
  • Nothing on recurring fees. That includes the $50 a month website plan and any monthly fee for running ads.
  • For services you apply for first (websites, ads, the 1-on-1), the customer counts as yours when they clicked your link, applied through our site on the same browser, and paid within 60 days of the click.
  • A sale counts as yours when the buyer clicked your link in the 60 days before buying, on the same browser. If they clicked another partner's link after yours, the last link wins.
  • Tracking uses a cookie. If a buyer blocks cookies, switches devices or clears their browser, we may not see the sale, and we can't pay on sales we can't see.

Getting paid

  • We pay once a month by PayPal or Zelle, for sales that are past the 14-day refund window.
  • The minimum payout is $25. Smaller balances roll into the next month.
  • If a sale or service is refunded or charged back, its commission is taken back, including from a later payout.
  • US partners send a W-9 before their first payout. If we pay you $600 or more in a year, we send you a 1099-NEC. You handle your own taxes.

How you can promote

  • Tell people you earn a commission, every time, close to your link. "Affiliate link" or "I get a cut if you buy" is enough. The FTC requires it.
  • No income or results claims. Don't promise anyone they'll make money or close more jobs. You can share your own honest experience as your own.
  • No paid search ads that bid on "Groundwork Playbooks" or our names, and no coupon or deal sites.
  • No spam, no fake reviews, and nothing that pretends you are Groundwork Playbooks.
  • No buying through your own link, and no paying people to buy.

Ending it

You can leave any time. We can change these terms, remove a partner or end the program at any time. If we remove you for breaking these rules, unpaid commissions on the sales involved are forfeited. Otherwise, commissions you already earned still get paid.

The rest

You're an independent partner, not an employee or agent of Svear. These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia.
